Nicole came to yoga for relief from severe chronic neck and back pain. After attending her first class, she was so inspired by the results that she began studying many forms of yoga. As a child, Nicole was a competitive gymnast, which gives her a profound understanding of the human body. Along with the practice of yoga, Nicole has been a twice daily Vedic Meditator for over twenty years. She has completed several yoga trainings, including 300-hour Jivamukti, 100-hour Anusara, prenatal/postnatal, and 200-hour It’s Yoga training. In addition to her own teaching, she is a trainer at several teacher training programs in the Bay Area. Nicole’s goal as a teacher is to assist students to feel empowered and to experience not only freedom from physical pain but also spiritual joy and freedom.
